Jane passed away at Highline Regional Hospital on April 22, 2006. She was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on May 5, 1928 to Joseph and Elizabeth Ott.
After graduation from high school, Jane went to Washington, D.C. to work at the Pentagon. There she met the love of her life, Chuck, who preceded her in death in 2004. Jane was always proud to be an Air Force wife. While Chuck was on active duty, she always considered a move an adventure and a chance to see different parts of the country.
Jane loved cooking, gardening, crafts, needlework, and the car trips they used to take every Spring and Fall.
