Shelby—Lorraine I. Hillebrand, age 86, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Marias Medical Center in Shelby.

Lorraine was born July 15, 1928 to Martin and Nettie (Hanson) Knutson in Michigan, North Dakota. She was the youngest of 11 children. She was married to Floyd Hillebrand on July 18, 1947 in Michigan, North Dakota. They moved to Shelby in November of 1950. Floyd and Lorraine had three children. Lorraine enjoyed playing games, especially Bingo. She was a member of Shelby's VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her three children; her sister and brother; her 6 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd, and eight brothers and sisters.
