Rev. Elliott was born November 22, 1926 in Calvin, Oklahoma and died November 26, 2005 in Bastrop, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Elliott,: three brothers, Tom, Bernard and Melton Elliott and one sister, Grace Howell.
Visitation will be from 3pm till 9pm Sunday November 27, 2005 at Cox Funeral Home, Bastop, LA and from 10am till 9pm Monday November 28, 2005 at Mt. Zion Church of God, Goodwill, LA.
Survivors include his wife, Nelwyn Elliott of Bastrop, LA; son, Henry Elliott of Buffalo, TX; son, Dickey Mayhall of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Sharon Bosworth of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Esther Williamson of Buffalo, TX; brother, Merlin Elliott of Tonepah, AZ; brother, Nile Elliott of Bastrop, LA; sister Marie McCarty of Bastrop, LA; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Henry Elliott, Donald Williamson, Jamie Womack, Chris Womack, Geoffry Daniel, and Timothy Williamson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dickey Mayhall, Bill Harper, Hursel Tyson, and Rodney LaForge.
