Robert "Bob" Koller, 88 died Monday, January 26, 2015 at Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home,

Robert Harrison Koller was born on January 24, 1927 to Albert and Tressa (Wrage) Koller in Turner County, SD. He was brought up in the Parker area and graduated from Parker High School in 1944. While in high school he was elected the state president of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). After graduation he enlisted in the US Army and served during the end of WW II.

On January 7, 1950 he was united in marriage to Peggy Mahoney at Luverne, MN.

They farmed near Parker with his father until 1960 when they moved to Sioux Falls where he went to work for John Morrell as a hog buyer, retiring in 1994. They moved back to a farm near Parker in 1969 where he and his sons operated a hog business.

He was an active member of the Parker Masonic Lodge #30 for over 60 years, Yankton Consistory, and the United Methodist Church.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Peggy of 65 years; 5 children, Laurie (Wally) Meyer, Westboro, WI, Robert Jr, Parker, Julie Koller Pilkington, Peoria, AZ, Thomas (Anita), Parker, and Kathy (Butch) Anderson, Gettysburg, SD; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren.
