Juanita May, 82 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on Sunday, April 3, 1932 in Kentucky the daughter of the late Thomas Gibson and the late Gertrude (Inman) Kennedy. She married Silven C. May on February 28, 1955 in Auburn, Indiana and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2011.
Juanita was a member of the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene.
She retired from Container Corporation in Fort Wayne with 20 years of service.
Surviving are her son, William A. May of Monroeville; son, Jimmy (Winifred) May of Monroeville; daughter, Linda (Larry) Pray of Hoagland; son, Thomas (Nina) May of Monroeville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Rev. Brent Hickman officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, January 29 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville.
