Gary Paul Flowers, 58, of Bridge City, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Winfree Baptist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Brother Donald Toutcheque.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Gary was born on December 4, 1956 to William and Mary Virginia (Martin) Flowers. He served in the United States Army and afterward he was an auto mechanic specializing in body works. He loved being with his family and friends, enjoyed fishing, barbequing, gardening or anything to do with the outdoors; he was also an animal lover.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Flowers; dad, William Flowers and sister, Cathy Bayless.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Flowers; sons, Gary Paul Flowers, Jr. and wife Wendy, Chris Archer and wife Charlotte, and Jimmy Archer; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Jim Flowers and sisters, Margaret Robinson and Lisa Jernigan.
