Marcie was born December 29, 1945, in DeKalb, Mo. to James and Jessie (Moore) Robinson. She attended DeKalb High School and later moved to St. Joseph. She worked at Maryville Treatment Center as a Lead Cook. Marcie enjoyed gardening and animals, especially taking care of stray animals. She also enjoyed taking care of her elderly neighbors and was very social. She loved her children and was very supportive of them.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and siblings, Bob, Bill, Jack, and Chuck Robinson, Pearl Nichols, Jody Hinch and Tiny Muff; and recently her longtime companion, Cyril Hodge.
Survivors include her children, Joett Binswanger and husband Sam of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and JB Tarwater of Cantonment, Fla.; siblings, Frank Robinson and Lucille Brock, both of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Nathan and Lucas Binswanger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and Interment will be noon Tuesday, at Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, Mo. Pastor Sam Binswanger officiating
