Ruth E. King, 80, of 2 Carousel Drive died Friday at Roger Williams General Hospital. She was the widow of Lloyd King.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jeff) Branch, she moved to East Providence 16 months ago.
She leaves two sons, Donald J. Donofrio of Warwick and John E. Donofrio, Jr. of Seekonk; a daughter, Marjorie Rogers of Providence; a sister, Jessie Gleason of Cranston; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, with a committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Wampanoag Trail, at 10. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
