James William Beasley, 78, passed away peacefully January 22, 2015, in Tucson, Arizona.

He was born November 20, 1936, to William L. and Emma I. Beasley in Lynd, Minnesota.

Predeceased by his wife, Inge, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage; and by his sister, Lettie J. Cale.

Survivors include his two sons, Eric and Marc (Jane); his two grandchildren; and his two brothers, George and Clair (Sally).

James graduated from Tempe Union HS in 1954, Arizona State University in 1958 (BS, Accounting), and was commissioned 2LT, U.S. Army Finance Corps.

Earned a CPA in 1965 and an MBA in 1972 at Syracuse University.

Retired U.S. Army Reserve colonel and Department of the Army civilian with over 30 years of service. Stationed at Fort Sill, OK; Corlu, Turkey; Heidelberg, Germany; Ft. Lee, VA; and the Presidio of San Francisco, CA.

Funeral Service at Bring's Broadway Chapel, Tucson, 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Burial will be held at the Southern Arizona Veterans Cemetery, Sierra Vista, Arizona, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
