Allison Chrestman Alexander

1972 ~ 2015

Gulfport

Allison Chrestman Alexander, at the young age of 42, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born in New Orleans, LA, and attended St. Martin's Episcopal School from kindergarten through the 12th grade. She then attended Ole Miss where she received an Accounting Degree and an MBA. She was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority and was proudly elected as Sigma Nu Sweetheart.

She worked in Public Accounting in New Orleans for a few years and then began working at Mississippi Power Company in Gulfport, MS. She worked in Accounting and then in Marketing until she "retired" in 2007 to become a stay at home mom, her favorite job.

She was a Life Member of Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport, a member of the Gulf Coast Gardeners and was a very active member of the Bayou View Elementary PTA and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Allison was a passionate person. She was a huge football fan and loved cheering for "her" Ole Miss Rebels and "her" New Orleans Saints. She loved being a daughter, a sister, a wife and a friend. Her greatest love, however, was being a mom.

Allison is survived by and will be greatly missed by her parents, Reuben and Mary Ann Chrestman; her sister, Mary Beth Chrestman; her brother, Andy Chrestman, his wife Sarah; and Allison's beloved nephew and niece, Kohl and Amelia Chrestman, all of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by the three lights of her life; her loving and devoted husband, Mark; her precious "baby girl" daughter, Ellie and her "sweet man" son, Tripp.

She will also be missed by her very large support group of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 5007 Lawson Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the sanctuary at Trinity United Methodist Church, and the funeral service will be held the following day on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the church with visitation one hour prior.

Private burial will follow services at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
