Rose Mary Schwartz, 78, Pulaski, died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at a Green Bay hospital following a short illness. Rose was born on July 21, 1936, in Green Bay to Hubert and Mabell (Grady) Cornell. She was a graduate of West High School in Green Bay. On August 6, 1955, Rose married Donald Schwartz at St. John the Baptist Church. The couple started Schwartz Siding and Roofing, Inc. in 1967, which they enjoyed operating together for many years. In 1995 they retired and moved to Pickerel. The couple belonged to St. Mary's Church, where Rose was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. In the summer of 2014, the couple returned to Pulaski and re-joined SS. Edward & Isidore Church, Flintville.Rose and Don loved traveling together. They also enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling. Rose loved polka dancing and took pride in maintaining a garden. In the later years, she enjoyed feeding the birds. She is survived by her husband, Donald; children: Jill (Fred) Nooyen Sanders, Jack (Sandra) Schwartz, and Scott (Lisa Evans) Schwartz; five grandchildren: Chastity (Jim) Reyment and Chrystal (Tony) Fehring, Adam (Nikki Tauscher) Schwartz, Kayla Schwartz, and Nikolas Schwartz; two great grandchildren: Katelynn Rose Reyment, and Aleyna Joy Schwartz; five siblings: Gary (Yvonne) Cornell, Lee (Lyn) Cornell, Ronnie (Maryann) Cornell, Ann (Donnie) Benedyk, and DeDe (Dick) Cramer; one sister-in-law, Karen Cornell; one brother-in-law, Mike Kimps; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings: Tina (Charlie) Christensen, Randy Cornell, Cleo (Merlin) Wallenfang, Bonnie (Roger) Vanderbloemen, Debbie Kimps, and Mark Cornell.Friends may call at SS. Edward & Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd., Flintville, after 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Dave Hoffman presiding. Entombment will take place in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
