Funeral services for Ms. Verna Pauline White, 85, of Timpson, TX, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 24, 2015, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson, TX, with Bro. Bobby Waller officiating. Interment to follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson, TX. Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2015 at Taylor Funeral Home.

Ms. White was born April 27, 1929, in Snohomish, Washington. Verna Pauline White was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice P. Cottrell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Verna enjoyed bowling, quilting, and watching Western shows on television. Ms. White was a member of The Called Out Church in Center, Texas and loved her church greatly.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Mefford of Timpson, Texas; two brothers; one sister and a host of family and friends who will miss her greatly.

Ms. White was preceded in death by her husband, James F. White; parents; daughters, Deborah Pierce and Linda Smith.
