Kenneth Upchurch, 52, of Whitney passed away October 28, 2012 in Waco. He was born October 26, 1960 in Milford, Texas to Francis Lee and Elizabeth Ann Comer Upchurch.
He grew up in Hill County before moving to Yoakum County in his youth. For over 20 years he worked for Yoakum County where he was an equipment operator. He moved to Whitney in 2005. In his spare time he loved to ride his Harley. A generous person, he would literally give someone the shirt off his back. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by one sister, Shirley McCreary and his paternal grand parents, Homer and Jocie Upchurch and maternal grand parents, J. B. and Vada Comer of Itasca.
Survivors include his parents, F. L. and Ann Upchurch; two sons, Chris and Russell Williams, two brothers, Wayne and Leonard Upchurch, one sister, Cynthia Boiles, nine grand children and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other family members.
Services will be October 31, 2012 in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at the Itasca Cemetery in Itasca, Texas...M_M
