Geneva W. Newman, 73 of Warsaw, IN passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 9:50 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born on November 1, 1941 to Charles and Thelma (Stanaford) Hale in Boons Camp, Kentucky.
She was married to Larry E. Newman for 25 years. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2011. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ.
She served for 27 years as a machinist and blueprint ready for Weather Head/Dana Corporation, Columbia City.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgena Mitchell of Warsaw, Tammie Davis of Warsaw; 3 sons, Larry D. (and his wife Brandie) Newman of Pierceton, IN, Charles Victor (and his wife Kimberly) Newman of Goshen, IN and Troy Duty of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren, Rachel Mitchell, Grace Mitchell, Paul Taber II, Brittanie Davis, Celina Hayslett, Gregory Newman, Ashlen Morrow, Michael Newman, Ean Morrow, Aaron Morrow and Zane Morrow; 1 great grandchild, Adalynn Newman;1 Brother, Charles Hale of Palmyra, TN. And 1 sister, Lorraine Honeycutt of Servia, IN.
Geneva was also preceded in death by Albert Hale, Ivory Browning, Emily Price, Troy Hale Jr. and Allisha Mitchell.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10:00a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN.
Funeral services will be also held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN with Bishop Gary Paxton officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN.
