Timothy Dale Higgins, age 54, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Farless Higgins of Woodbury; Daughter, Miranda Johnson of Woodbury; Brother, Jeff (Tammy) Higgins of Woodbury; Grandson, Austin Johnson of Woodbury; Special Granny, Betty Gilley of Woodbury; Niece & Nephew, Ashley (Jason) Carter & Taylor Higgins, both of Woodbury. Also surviving are several aunts & uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, J. W. Higgins.

Mr. Higgins was a member of the Church of Christ and of the Cannon County Walking Horse Association. He worked for Higgins Livestock, Buck's Chair Shop, Hodge Manufacturing, Valdor, & shod horses.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Tues., Jan. 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bros. Norman Pelham & Van Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Mon., Jan. 26, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cannon County Walking Horse Association.
