ANDERSON — Robert D. Crabill, 84, of Anderson died Jan. 23, 2015, at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born on June 14, 1930, to John and Irene (Minnick) Crabill. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, following graduation from Middletown High School. He was a utility man at Delco Remy for 26 and a half years and retired on March 1, 1988.

He was an avid golfer, celebrating a hole-in-one in 1976.

He is survived by three children, Kevin Robert (Pam) Crabill of Middletown, Gene Trueblood of Franklin and Carolyn Trueblood of Anderson; twin brother, William (Janet) Crabill of Middletown; four grandchildren, Jeremy (April) Havens, Ross (Amanda) Crabill, Aaron Trueblood and Emily (Theo) Elgin; three greatgrandchildren and one on the way, Hendrix, Riley, Jackson and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis Crabill; and sister, Dolores Keesling.

Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, with Ned Clark officiating. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Honor Guard Post 266.

Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
