He was a member of the Roan Mountain Lodge No. 566 F.&A.M., a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Roan Mountain Water Commission.
Mr. Buck retired from Johnson Motor Line, Charlotte, N.C., and was a retired teamster.
The funeral service for Mr. Buck will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 in the Rhododendron Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Roan Mountain.
The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
