Mrs. Matilda Reighard Oster, wife of Daniel M. Oster, died at her home near Osterburg on Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock. She became ill 10 days ago and developed pneumonia. She was born Oct. 28, 1864, in Bedford twp., the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Bittinger) Reighard. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A life-long resident of the vicinity in which she lived, she was the oldest member of St. Peters Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid society. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Smith, at home, and one granddaughter, Mary Matilda Smith. Two sons and one grandson preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock at St. Peter's Lutheran church, the Rev. Richard C. Rife officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery
