A memorial service for Clifford E. “Cliff” Webster of Mountain Home will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Cook officiating. Mr. Webster died Monday (August 7, 1995) at St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was 70.
Burial at Baxter Memorial Gardens will be private.
Formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Mr. Webster had been a resident here since 1960. He was born September 7, 1924, at Macomb, Illinois, a son of the late Harold A. and Stella I. Hannah Webster. He and the former Reva M. Uchtman married May 29, 1993, at Mountain Home. Mr. Webster retired in 1989 as a telephone/radio technician with Century Telephone of Mountain Home. He was a member of Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Al-Anon and Twin Lakes Fellowship, having served on the board and as past treasurer.
Mr. Webster was the former owner of Blackberry Hill Resort and the Hobby Lobby. He was in the broadcasting industry in Canada and then went to CBS in Milwaukee.
He is survived by his wife, Reva M. Webster of the home, three sons and two daughters-in-law, CSM Dennis E. and Sandra Webster of Fort Irwin, California; Dale A. and Lisa Webster of Mountain Home; and Douglas W. Webster of Mountain Home; two grandchildren, Angela and John Webster of Fort Irwin, California; five stepdaughters; one stepson; 10 step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 37 years, Amelia A. Selinger Webster; and his second wife, Catherine M. Madura Webster.
