CORINTH - Delbert G. Mosher, 65, passed away unexpectedly Friday Jan. 16, 2015, at his home.
Born Nov. 29, 1950, in Corinth, he was the son of Viola (Pixley) Mosher of Corinth and the late Ira Mosher.
Delbert was a graduate of Corinth High School in 1969.
He joined the U.S. Marine Corps. on Jan. 10, 1968, serving during the Vietnam War until his discharge in 1973, receiving the National Defense Service Medal.
Delbert was employed as an electrician at the International Paper Co. in Corinth for several years. He was a former member of the Corinth Emergency Squad.
He enjoyed computers, reading and going for walks.
Besides his father, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Howard and James Mosher; and one sister, Clara (Mosher) LaPann.
A committal service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Saratoga.
