Carl McDonald, 70, was born May 10, 1944 in Parkersburg, West Virginia and passed away January 20, 2015. He was raised Belpre, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his parents; Carl Chester McDonald and Dorothy Shafer and his son; Ray McDonald. Survived by his wife; Norma McDonald and other family members.

Carl enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1963 and retired from active duty after serving 20 plus years, where he served several tours in Vietnam, Korea and Germany. He spent most of his career in Germany with the 57th Missile Battalion, and transfered to Fort Eustis with the 2nd Staff and Faculty, teaching helicopter repair and retiring from Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas as an E-8.

Committal Service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
