Barbara Ann Daves Cullum, 72, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene and was a bookkeeper at both Cash and Venable Lumber Companies for many years. Barbara grew up in Quitman, Arkansas, where she was an accomplished basketball player for the Quitman Bulldogs. She was a Razorback fan and also enjoyed watching the NBA. She had an unwavering faith in God and lived that faith every day. Second only to God was her family, whom she valued above all else. She delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always put the needs of others before her own. She was thoughtful, generous, and loving beyond measure and had great compassion for all. She was truly an amazing person who touched many lives with her sweet spirit and intuitive ways.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mike Cullum of North Little Rock; mother, Mamie Daves; two sons, Tim New (Shannon) and Randy New (Lisa) all of Quitman; two daughters, Lisa Barker (Bruce) and Angela Palmer-Lett, both of North Little Rock; brother, Kenneth Daves (Brenda); and her grandchildren: Jake Joseph, Trey New, Lindi New, Chance New, Kristin Grace Barker, Michael Palmer, Logan Lett, Tyler and Hayden Stovall, four great-grandchildren, and a host of many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell E. Daves.
