Word was received from Adair that Mrs. Hugh Kimpson was very very low at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Parker. She had a relapse from the "Flu". She was a resident here for a number of years.

Mrs. Hugh Kimpson passed away recently at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Parker near Adair. Her body was brought to Grant and funeral services were held in the Methodist Church, Thursday, conducted by Rev. Breeding of Cumberland and interment was in the cemetery here, conducted by the ladies of Grant Circle of which she was a member.
