OBITUARY - David F. “Pop Gun” Wilburn, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home. He was a machine operator for Alcan and former truck driver and he worked at KOA. David was a member of SASS. He attended Colgate Baptist Church and Cooper Chapel Baptist Church. David was a native of Louisville, KY. He is survived by his daughter Tampa Sue Lacy of Jeffersonville, IN.; brother Ray L. Wilburn of Pioneer Village, KY.; sister Virginia M. Embry of Lanesville, IN.; grandchildren Renae Kepfer-Clark, Quentin Kepfer, Whitney Hawkins; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. David was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Katherine Wilburn; father Hardy L. Wilburn; mother Clara Mae Wilburn; 6 brothers
Funeral service will be Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Clark County Humane Society or United Cerebral Palsy.
