Theodore Ted Davilla, 85, the world's best dad and grandpa passed away December 6, 1993.
He was born in Alamosa, Colorado, November 8, 1908, the son of Xavier and Margarite Salazar Davilla. Except for his family and friends Ted's greatest love was his music. He played the accordian and piano. While employed at Salt Lake County plumbing he loved to entertain the senior citizens living at the county complex and designed and made instruments for their kitchen band from scraps of electrical conduit. He previously worked 22 years for Industrial Steel.
His early years were spent with his maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in New Mexico, Pocatello, Idaho and Salt Lake.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Troy (Marguerita) Davilla Telck, two precious grandsons, Travis Reed Leany and Clayton Ted Snell. One niece, one nephew, numerous cousins and an uncountable number of friends. He loved people. He loved life.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to a favorite charity on Ted's behalf.
A vigil service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 1993 at 7 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place Friday, 12 noon, in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
