He was a retired employee of World Color Press in Salem, Illinois and was a member of the Methodist Church. Dale had been a life resident of Washington County and was a 1953 graduate of Pekin High School. He served in the 503rd Military Police in the U. S. Army.
He married March 3, 1956 to Genevieve (Nale) Morris, who survives.
Also surviving are: 1 Sister: Martha Boaz, Lexington, Indiana; 4 Nieces: Tina Lee, Salem, Paula McNally, Dubuque, Iowa, Diane Ramsey and Denise Chatham, Lexington, Indiana; 2 Nephews: John "Rick" Morris, Pekin and Rodney Morris, Indianapolis; 10 great nieces and nephews, 16 great great nieces and nephews and 3 great great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, John Morris.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Kenyon officiating.
Interment at Olive Branch Cemetery with full military honors.
