Mary Susan Thomas Buth, 85, left this earthly life Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, to join her Savior Jesus Christ in her heavenly home. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Glenview Baptist Church, 4805 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth. Mary was born July 26, 1929, to T.W. Thomas and Ida Sue Bayne Thomas of Hodgenville, Ky. In 1950, she married the Rev. Joseph Patrick Buth and worked faithfully alongside him in the Christian ministry both in Texas and Louisiana. They were married for 49 years until his death in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Patrick Buth; great-grandson, Jacob Andrew Cannon; and seven beloved siblings. Survivors: Daughter, Deborah Buth Gaurkee (Richard) of Cleburne; sons, Rodney Buth of Haltom City, Joe Buth of Pineville, La.; grandchildren, Scott Cannon (Melissa), Ryan Buth, Robin Cannon Colwell (Clayton), Jenna Buth Jeffcoat (Trey); great-grandson, Bryson Alan Jeffcoat; brother, Lawrence Thomas of Buffalo, Ky.; sister, Ann Fisher of Louisville, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
