Robbie Jean Stewart, age 87, of Kirby, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015.

She was born on January 31, 1927 at Kirby, the daughter of John Thomas Anderson and Lona Etta Sparks Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Obed Anderson, Fay Anderson and Bobby Anderson; and two sisters, Bernice Baxter and Martha Nell Walker.

A former owner of the Kirby Roller Rink, Robbie was a longtime member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, feeding and watching her birds and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Marla Stewart and Bruce and Paulette Stewart, all of Kirby; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Elbert Abernathy of Kirby; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Sara and Doug McKinney, Jason Stewart, Lee Stewart, Chad and Kay Stewart, Wade and Staci Stewart, Kobie Stewart, Darla and Daniel Crump, Dedra and Shaun Robinson and Jody and Robyn Abernathy; seventeen great-grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Luke, Bo, Wyatt, Westin, Brayden, Josie, Kylee, Cade, Ty, Maylee, Jalyn, Lyndee, Courtney, Tanner and Lane; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Twila Anderson of Glenwood; one sister and brother-in-law, Fern and Jimmy Adams of Kirby; and many neices and nephews.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015 in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at Kirby with Bro. Bobby Golden and Bro. Melvin Markham officiating.

Interment will be in Kirby Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and include Chad Stewart, Jason Stewart, Jody Abernathy, Wade Stewart, Lee Stewart and Kobie Stewart.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doug McKinney, Daniel Crump and Shaun Robinson.
