LAURA'S OBITUARY
Laura Thacker Stephens, age 92 of Morrilton, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born on October 16, 1918 in Pikeville, KY to the late Wallace Thacker and Mollie Coleman Thacker. Laura was preceded in death by: Her Husband George Stephens; Two Sons: William Beaver & David Stephens. She was of the Baptist faith, who was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Laura was a volunteer for Conway County Care Center for many years. She enjoyed reading especially the Bible and flower gardening. Survivors include: One Son: Ronnie Stephens of Texas. Two Daughters: Trissia Landin and her husband, Brian of Green Forrest; Phyllis Windsor and her husband, Mike of Morrilton. One Brother: Ireland Thacker and his wife, Rachel of Pikeville, KY. Ten Grandchildren; Seven Great-Grandchildren. Graveside Service: 10 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at New Hope Cemetery, Lost Corner with Lyle Koone officiating. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, May 3.
