Robert L. “Bob” Bush, 69, of Grayson, died Thursday evening, June 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Arnold Ray and Dorothy Carroll Bush.
Bob owned and operated Bush’s Dairy for 50 years and after retiring operated the H.P. Sutton Cattle Farm. He was a member of the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association, former board member of the Carter County ASC Office and board member of the Carter County Cattlemen’s Association and member of the Myrtle Tree Baptist Church.
Mr. Bush is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jean Bush; two sons, Michael Bush and Tim (Carla) Bush of Grayson, Ky.; two daughters, Robin (Harry) Bell and Dianne (Rick) Carroll; three brothers, Ernie Bush, Richard Bush, and Don Bush; two sisters, Margaret Bellew and Lois Floyd; four grandchildren, Seth (Heather) Carroll, Nathan Carroll, Sydney Bush and Reese Bush. In addition, he is survived by a host of friends and relatives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday June 20, 2010 at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Pastor Kenneth Cade and Pastor Brian Bush. Burial will follow in the Seaton Family Cemetery in Grayson.
