Clara Lou Stephens, 91, of Mahomet, formerly of Clinton, passed away 2:30 P.M. January 21, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Clara Lou was born May 25, 1923 in Wapella, the daughter of Oliver Asa and Anna Lotus Walden Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Dumser and Julie (Norm) Lewis; five grandchildren and one brother, Glenn Wilson.
Clara Lou was a member of First Christian Church, where she served as treasurer for 25 years. She was city treasurer for Clinton until 1997, serving for approximately 20 years.
