Tupelo – Mrs. Kathryn Edwards Leeper Graham, 93, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at North MS Hospice Unit after a long prosperous life. She was born November 12, 1921 in Perry County, TN to Claude and Lottie Edwards. She came to Tupelo thirty-four years ago from Columbus, MS where she was a member of Wesley Methodist Church. She attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Tupelo where she was active for many years before her health began to fail. She worked many years as a fitness instructor for NMMC Wellness Center. She enjoyed her aerobics, encouraging her aerobics students, cooking, sewing, and working with her flowers.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jan Carnathan of Tupelo and Jackie Moore of Yazoo City; three grandchildren, Steven Moore and Laura Dick, both of Biloxi, and Brent Carnathan of Pierson, FL; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dorothy Edwards of Tiplersville; niece, Irene Womack of Nashville, TN and a special friend, Marie Milam.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of Jackie and Jan, Jack Leeper ; late husband, Harvey Graham; two sisters, Theda Long and Tommie Edwards, and brother, Claude Edwards, Jr.

A visitation honoring Kathryn will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a private family service with burial at Lee Memorial Park. Holland Funeral Directors is entrusted with arrangements.
