Gene E. Bradley, age 76, of Bruno, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center in Flippin, Arkansas.

He was born February 15, 1938 in Zephyr, Texas to the late Mack and Lora (Lee) Bradley. He was the owner operator of the DX gas station in Yellville, and prior to his retirement he was the full service attendant at the Mountain Home Citgo gas station. He had lived in the area for the past 42 years, and was a Baptist. He was a loving and kind person and he loved being around people.

Gene is survived by his wife, Margaret (McCormack) Bradley of Yellville;

three sons: Macky Bradley and his wife, Tricia, of Dripping Springs, Texas; Michael Bradley and his wife, Donna Sue, of Yellville, Arkansas; Jeff Bradley and his wife, Veronica, of Thornton, Colorado;

a daughter, Kimberly Bradley of Yellville;

one brother, his twin, Jack Bradley and his wife, Irene, of Las Vegas, Nevada;

and one sister, Linda Jones and her husband, (D.B.) of Ballinger, Texas;

one sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson of Yellville, Arkansas;

nine grandchildren: Tyler Bradley of Elgin, Texas; Taylor Bradley, Dylan Bradley, and Paige Bradley, all of Thornton, Colorado; Chris Bradley and Chase Bradley both of Dripping Springs, Texas; Jennifer Hunt and her husband, Will, of Yellville, Arkansas; and Hope Cagle and her husband, Andy, of Peel, Arkansas;and Lori Bakeman-Gillespie of Texas;

and five great-grandchildren: Noimi Bradley of Dripping Springs, Texas; Kailee Cagle of Peel, Arkansas; Wyatt Wallace and Allison Wallace, both of Yellville, Arkansas; and Delaney Grace Bakeman-Gillespie of Texas.

Visitation for Mr. Bradley will be from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, or to the charity of your choice.
