Howard L. Rohrmoser, 71, of 2074 N. Lakeshore Drive, died at 6:55 pm at Baywood Nursing Home following an extended illness. Howard L. Rohrmoser was born Sept. 12, 1925 in Scottville and had lived in Mason County all his life. He graduated from Scottville High School (1943) and attended Central Michigan University.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Navy. He was married May 23, 1950 in Ludington, to Lois Massee and she preceded him in death in 1986. He was a lab technican at Dow Chemical for over 20 years and retired in 1984. He was a life member of the BPO Elks Lodge No. 736.
Surviving are one son, Timothy (Patricia) Rohrmoser of Richmond, VA and one granddaughter, Veronica Ann of Virginia; one sister, Mrs. Rita Tarr of Ludington; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his wife, by two sons, Gregory Lee and Stephen J. Rohrmoser and by one sister, Kathrn Robinson.
