Mrs. Hall graduated as Valedictorian of Pineland High School in 1938 and married Murray Martin Hall in September of that year. In 1940, they moved to Lufkin.
Mrs. Hall devoted her life to her husband and children and to being a homemaker. She excelled in all the domestic arts. A wonderful cook and seamstress, she kept an immaculate house. Working in her garden was one of her greatest pleasures as evidenced in her beautiful yard and flower garden.
She faithfully attended Lufkin’s First Baptist Church, where she served in several volunteer capacities over the years.
The Cut-N-Grow Garden Club was one of her favorite activities and, while a member, she hosted many meetings and won several flower arranging competitions. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Genealogy Club.
Mrs. Hall was an amazing woman of great strength, courage, determination and faith. She never quit striving, even in the face of overwhelming obstacles. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ethel Travis McDonald; her husband, Murray Martin Hall; and her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Jack Lynch.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlea Lamprea (German); her son, Milton Hall (Lily); her niece, Laura McQuerry (Mike); numerous cousins.
