Robert Richard Stultz, 80, of Merom passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Sullivan County Community Hospital. He was born in Sullivan County on May 25, 1934 to Calvin and Pearl (Gordon) Stultz. Robert had attended Gill Township High School, was employed at Prestolite in Vincennes for 36 years, the Sullivan county Highway Department for 16years and was a farmer for most of his adult life. Preceding him in death are his parents, a sister Helen Stultz, brothers Calvin, Jerry and John Stultz. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Christine Arnett Stultz whom he married on September 29, 1952, three sons Jack (Gayle) Stultz of Terre Haute, James (Leslie) Stultz of Farmersburg, Dan (Kathy) of Merom, two sisters Martha Lee Moody of Indianapolis, Norma Wieringa of Crete IL, six grandchildren, Ryan (Brittne) Stultz, Jennifer (Todd) Davis, Ashley (Nick) Givens, Teresa (Randy) Lamb, Travis (Katie) Stultz, Aimee (Gary) Wells, twelve great grandchildren Cole Davis, Kate Davis, Alex Davis, Ty Stultz, Caleb Stultz, Breelyn Wells, Gary Wells Jr, Maddox Givens, Owen Lamb, Landon Stultz, Boone Reed and Pierson Reed. Services for Robert will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 24, 2015 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Gettinger officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Crowe Cemetery west of Graysville. The family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to Our Fathers Arms Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
