Cora was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Leslie Morgan in Kansas City, Missouri, after meeting in college, celebrating over 47 years before his death in 2000. Together they owned and operated two restaurants in Kansas City Kansas and in Joplin Missouri before retiring and moving back to Harrison. Cora enjoyed church activities including the choir, children’s Sunday school, and the prayer team.
Cora is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: George and Donna Morgan of Tucson, Arizona, and Alan and Mary Morgan of Tinley Park, Illinois; three grandchildren: Andrew and his wife Juliana Morgan, Rebekah Morgan and Dustin Bennett; and a brother and sister-in-law: George and Sara Zeigler of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
