Spec. 5/c U.S. Army, {RA16973529}, Vietnam War-Spec. Disrud was a passenger on a C-7A A/C when it crashed with a Helicopter on 10-3-1968 while serving as a Welder with DET C of the 27th Maint. Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. Spec. Disrud started his tour of Vietnam on 11-30-1967.

He is the son of Mr. Almer H. Disrud of 302 North Central Avenue, Duluth, Minnesota, and Mrs. Anna M. Disrud of 2514 West 2nd Street, Duluth.

Awards: Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
