Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Park Hills. Monsignor Mike Thornton and Father Tommy Conway will officiate.
Mrs. Maslanka worked as a receptionist for South Central Regional Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Harding of Atlanta, Georgia.
Survivors include her husband, Bernie Maslanka of Laurel; five sons, Mike Maslanka of Houston, Mark Maslanka of Jackson, Craig Maslanka of Laurel; Patrick Maslanka (Joanna) of Tampa, Florida, and Todd Maslanka of Laurel; daughter, Kelly Grissett (Buster) of Meridian; fifteen grandchildren, Kelly Street, Michelle Harding, Christine Harding, Katie Maslanka, Mackenzie Maslanka, Kirsten Maslanka, Cole Maslanka, Cameron Maslanka, Trey Grissett, Brittany Grissett, Chelsea Grissett, Kevin Jordan, Kyle Jordan, Erin Jordan, and Julie Jordan.; three great grandchildren, Emerson, Molly, and Scarlett; and one sister, Joan Klopp of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Her sons, Mike, Mark, Craig, Patrick, and Todd Maslanka, along with her son-in-law, Buster Grissett will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Memory Chapel. The Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
