Thurmond, Michael "Mike", passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Beloved husband of Donna Thurmond (nee Daniel); Loving father of Michael (Fenanda) Thurmond, Brian (Angie) Thurmond, and Tara (Shannon) Everroad; Loving grandfather of Devann Little, Leonardo and Alaiyah Thurmond, and Isabella Thurmond; Loving great grandfather of Trenton Dean Christie. Mike served his country in the United States Army from 1970-1973. He worked as a firefighter for St. Louis Fire District where he retired after thirty five years of service. Services: Funeral from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, 8:45 a.m. to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for 9:30 a.m. roadside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Backstoppers, Inc. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.
