more likely burial is Pendleton county, WV.

But Conrad W. Feltner in "The Trumbo Family" (1974) states, on page 437, that he died 1851 in Texas. This is possible as he is in the 1850 census for Pendleton county, WV and his son, Saulsbury, is buried 1881 in Honey Grove, Fannin county, Texas. However his son is in all the census records 1850-1870 for Pendleton county, WV. His grandson, William L. Trumbo, of Andrew M. Trumbo, is also buried 1878 in the same cemetery so the stories may have been garbled.
