I knew and worked with your Mother for years. Betty still carries the pain of losing you to this day. Due to her advanced age she will never see the Wall, but your flowers will be delivered from her every year as I have promised her. I took the etching of your name from the Wall and held her as she touched it and cried. The Vets who help at the Wall are so kind and understanding. You have inspired me to sponsor POW/MIAs, Betty has some bitterness about losing you, but she understands that you did what you had to do for your Country. She is so very proud of you as are your sisters. I am so lucky to have known you through all of them and shared in the memories, Lyn Johnson.

I served with David: You Are Not Forgotten. David, I was proud to have served with you. Randy Foster, I Troop, 3rd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Vietnam, 1968- 1969, Randy Foster
