Everett Eugene Cooper, 95 of Carthage, passed away January 17, 2015 at Seneca House in Seneca, MO. He was born August 28, 1919 to Joseph Henry Cooper and Thurza Lyberger Cooper in Milo, MO.
He was a longtime Carthage resident. Everett graduated Carthage Senior High.
He served in the Air Force for three years where he was an aircraft instruments instructor. He worked for Myers Motor Supply, Four States Supply, Atlas Chemical and the Carthage Post Office before retiring.
He loved to fish, hunt, do lapidary and bead jewelry.

Everett was united in marriage to Dorothy Lola Cooper on December 16, 1937 in Webb City, MO. She preceded him in death February 24, 2014.
Everett is survived by one son, three grandchildren three great-grandchildren
Everett is preceded by his wife one sister Bernice T. Cooper, two brothers Joe H. Cooper and Edgar L. Cooper. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday January 23, 2015 at Park Cemetery Carthage, Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday January 23, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.
