Mr. Roy E. Skinner, age 84 of Mayfield, passed away at 7:15 A.M., Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Mills Health and Rehab. Facility in Mayfield. He was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a retired from the landscaping business. He is survived by his wife: Edna Earle Wiley Skinner, one nephew and eight nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Velma Newcomb Skinner and a brother, J.W. Skinner. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Trace Creek Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
