Emma Florence Boucher Whipkey was born in Jackson County, Illinois on October 2, 1857. Her parents were Samuel and Catherine Enns [Enos?] Boucher, both born in Pennsylvania. She was married – her spouse was Edward A. Whipkey, and their residence was Murphysboro in Jackson County, Illinois. Mrs. Whipkey died at age 69 on November 2, 1926, in Murphysboro. Her burial date was November 4, 1926.

Mrs. Emma Florence Boucher Whipkey was born October 2, 1857 in Jackson County. She spent her entire lifetime in the county.

Besides her husband, Edward A. Whipkey, she is survived by two sons, Logan Whipkey of North 11th Street and Roy Whipkey of Murphysboro.

Mrs. Whipkey was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

She died at the age of 69 at her son's home in Murphysboro on Tuesday, November 2, 1926. She had suffered with a tumor in her stomach for the past eight months. Her funeral service was held at her son's home. Rev. William Boatman officiated.
