He was a member of Thompson Branch Baptist Church. In 1988, he received the Youth Citizen Award by the State of New Jersey from Senator Bradley.
Funeral services was held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
Interment followed in Bethesda Cemetery.
