Marguerite (Pentalow) Burnette, 68, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Hartford Hospital.
Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kusnierczyk) Pentalow.
She graduated from New Britain High School, and went on to attend nursing school at Goodwin Technical Institute.
Marguerite was a successful realtor, working for various agencies in the area, where she made a wide circle of friends and colleagues. She retired from William Raveis in 2011, after 27 years in the industry.
In addition, she upheld her nursing career as a part time private duty nurse.
She led an active lifestyle, enjoyed travelling and was always up for a trip to the casino.
She is survived by her daughters, Kari Johnson of Farmington and Jennifer Johnson of Rocky Hill; her brothers, Timothy Pentalow and his wife, Wendy and John Pentalow; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother, Kevin Pentalow and her sister-in-law, Kathleen Pentalow.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St, Plainville. Words of remembrance will be shared at 7 p.m.
