Robert Dale Forsyth, 58, of Paris, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Robert, the son of Jewel Jason & Ruie Lucille Brooks Forsyth, was born July 1, 1956, in Mt. Pleasant.
He was a Master Electrician and an entrepreneur. Robert was a champion Black Jack player.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Jerry Forsyth, Richard Forsyth & Mack Forsyth and by one sister, Carolyn Stephens.
Survivors include his companion, Doris Sanford & her son, Chris R. Sanford, three sons, Toby Wilkerson of Tyler, Bob Forsyth of Paris and Russell Forsyth of Paris, a granddaughter, Abigail Forsyth, three sisters, Shirley Logan & husband Randy of Haughton, LA, Sharon Forsyth of Mt. Vernon and Sally Wallace & husband Everett of Mt. Vernon, four brothers, Tommy Forsyth of Mt. Vernon, Ronald Forsyth of Mt. Vernon, Jimmy Forsyth & wife Nancy of Monahans and Edwin Forsyth & wife Dorette of Texarkana along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with graveside services following at 3:30 p.m. at Providence Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Casket bearers will be: John Cunningham, Jerry Madewell, Dale Alsup, Steven Tillery, Bart Jamar and Randall Smith.
