Georgette J. Curry, 91, of Fairfax, Va., a sister-in-law of Mrs. Dale (Mabel) Law of Camp Point, died Oct. 1, 1992, in Fairfax.
Born Dec. 1, 1900, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Curry was a daughter of Frank and Eugenie Jacquet. In January 1929, she married Hubert M. Curry, formerly of Clayton, in Paris, France. He died Sept. 20, 1986.
Mrs. Curry was educated in New York and Paris, and was employed as a secretary by the American Embassy in Madrid. Mr. Curry was employed in foreign service. The couple lived in 11 foreign countries before retiring to Fairfax.
Survivors also include a nephew, James Curry of Dallas.
Memorial services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point by the Rev. Richard Martin. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point.
