Bruce Milo Harvey was born on January 28th, 1954, he was the 2nd child to proud parents Bernice and James Harvey in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in the Fort Greene area and made many friends throughout his life.

Bruce attended Fort Hamilton High School and pursued a career at Brooklyn navy shipping yard as a licensed welding technician. And went on to further his career as a contract window installer.

Bruce was always full of life, laughs and wisdom. Even through his five-year battle with cancer, he still managed to put a smile on the faces of those he loved with a disarming sense of humor that made everyone feel at ease. Bruce lived life to the fullest and would want those of us who loved him to continue to celebrate his life through our memories. Family surrounded Bruce, when he was called home on December 14th, 2014.

With memories of love and laughter, Bruce leaves his loving wife Beatrice Strong; three daughters: Cylenia Harvey, Sunseerey Rogers, Kionna Harvey; two sons: Davon Strong, Kenon Strong; one grandson: Kyree Harvey; one granddaughter: Autumn Richardson; two sisters: Patrica Harvey-Livingston and Nicole Harvey; one brother: Darrell Harvey; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
